Sangachal British Petroleum gas and oil terminal that feeds from their off-shore rigs to the newly constructed pipeline to the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline (BTC).
The enter length of the pipeline is monitored and partially controlled in a room in the central terminal where the gas and oil enter the pipeline. It is cared to Turkey and markets around the world by-passing Russia for the first time. It enters the ground here...

The enter length of the pipeline is monitored and partially controlled in a room in the central terminal where the gas and oil enter the pipeline. It is cared to Turkey and markets around the world by-passing Russia for the first time. It enters the ground here and comes up 1,776km to the west in Ceyhan, Turkey.
The 4 billion dollar pipeline is the world's second longest pipeline. It will care 1 million barrels of oil a day when fully operational.
