The remains of the spotter's batteries, radios, food, blankets, water bottles, heaters and so on litter the mountain ridge. The three were arrested by Border Patrol Agents but new spotters will most like come in and take up the position and help the smugglers avoid the Border Patrol as they move their good into the US.
A drop point for illegals just a few miles outside of Tucson. In this spot groups of illegal immigrants drop their water bottles, backpacks and other goods before walking onto a main road to be picked up by vehicle and then to a safe house within Tucson.

The area is littered with thousands of backpacks and personal items that can give an a strong impression of how many illegals come in to this area over a short period of time.
