In front of the Reichstag, the two Germany's -East and West - were reunited the second this massive German flag reached the top of the flag pole.

Large crowds gathered for the event, nearly one year after the Berlin Wall was opened allowing East Germans to travel freely to the West. By October 1990 almost nothing remained of the wall.
