New Orleans, Louisiana.USA.September 28, 2005 ..At the exact point where the levy broke in New Orleans' lower 9th district Michael LaGarde, 33 years old, finds what remains of his home ... a mound of dirt and a few small items pushed aside by a massive barge that came through the levy when it broke...He was born and raised in this house and lived with his 3 children in the house before the hurricane and flood took it away. His grandparents built the house in 1940. It was 65 years old...One block behind his house is the house of his Aunt that was 2 stories high and survived the flood. After searching the house for photos and goods left behind he sits dazed in the streets of his old neighborhood that he has known all his life..
