Occupy Wall Street protesters march from Foley Square down Broadway to their encampment at Zuccotti Park. The police cordon off the area and control thousands of protesters.
The participants of the event, that began on September 17, are mainly protesting against social and economic inequality, corporate greed, and the influence of corporate money and lobbyists on government, among other concerns.
About 1,000 people have been arrested so far - most on misdemeanor disorderly conduct charges related to blocking traffic or refusing police orders to move.
