In March J.D. Power and Associates 2009 Vehicle Dependability Study named Buick (and Jaguar) the most dependable brands on sale in the U.S., displacing long time leader Lexus. The study was based on responses from more than 46,000 original owners of 2006 models. The workers assemble the final touches on the award winning Buick.
It was the first time in 15 years -- General Motors Corp.'s Buick -- unseated Toyota Motor Corp.'s luxury Lexus brand as the most dependable.
