The new rich in Baku gather for a fashion show to mark the opening of an Escada store in the city center.
Baku and Azerbaijan in general should benefit financially from the new oil and gas pipeline that will soon carry as much as 1 million barrels of oil a day into Europe via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.
The 1,776 km, $4 billion pipeline places the gas and oil directly into Europe by-passing Russia for the first time.
