March 9, 2009.Stamford, Connecticut.USA..The New Covenant House soup kitchen is the only one of its kind set up to help people in Greenwich, Stamford, New Canaan and Darien. Run by Catholic Charities of Fairfield County, the soup kitchen provides daily hot meals to the homeless. There has been an increase in the numbers of people in the past couple of months due to the economic down turn across the country.
