Baku, Azerbaijan .December 14, 2006..Workers build the British Petroleum off-shore platform (on shore) at the ATA construction site near Baku. The ACG Project Phase 3 for deep-water GunashliIt should be complete in 2007 and shipped into place off-shore at the end of 2007...The rig will be part of an elaborate oil drilling platform - one of 5 now on-line in the Caspian sea for BP and the Azeri government. This oil will flow down the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil export pipeline, connecting Caspian oil to a Turkish port at Ceyhan and western Europe.
