St. Bernard's Parish, Louisiana.May 25, 2006..Demolition teams work at leveling as many as 6,000+ homes in St. Bernard's Parish damaged by hurricane Katrina in August of 2005...FEMA is offering to destroy home for free up until June 30, 2006. About 12 homes are being demolished a day (so far). ..Workers are outfitted in special clothing and masks as water is poured on to the debris as the homes have asepses. The water is to keep down the asepses fumes..
