Asmara, Eritrea.November 2002.Birhan Aim Hospital (Light to the Eye Hospital)..A patient lays still with his head hanging from the bed after eye drops are place to prevent infection. Following the surgery the patients must take the medication regularly for several days to avoid infection as their sight steadily improves.
