Baku, Azerbaijan .December 14, 2006..Just a few meters from the British Petroleum's massive multi-billion dollar off-shore platform being built on shore, is one of the poorest districts near Baku. Most of the residents are refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh region settled here during the war...A child make his way home after school in the shadows of the old rigs and the new BP construction sight.
